Don's Smokehouse, started 1963 by Don Davis, and is now a 2nd generation Butcher Shop owned by Steve Davis and helped by Steven Davis Jr., Cody Davis, Carey Davis and Courtney Davis.

    After serving in the Air Force as a butcher, Dons Smoke House was established in 1963. Originally starting in Garland Texas, my Dad ( Don Davis ) expanded to a new and larger facility in Waco, Texas. There Don and Dorothy ran a butcher shop and set up and sold their products at Gun Shows all over the great state of Texas. Focusing on Jerkys, Sausage, Summer Sausage, and Beef Sticks. They set a standard of Friendly Service, Quality Products and treated customers as one of the family. Dons Smoke House Soared like an eagle over other competitors.

    Don Davis Passed away in 2001. With Dorothy's support, she graciously allowed me to continue their traditions in producing the age old secret recipe's that were so painstakingly created long ago.

    It is my privilege to continue Don's Smoke House and carry on the work and development to this day Every time I talk to customers and I am able to say 2nd Generation I know my Dad smiles down on me. We appreciate all of our customers, and look at them as family and look forward to serving them every day
